Photographs and memories
I was looking through some motorcycling photographs recently, so I thought that I'd share some (and get a handle on posting pictures from an external source). You may get a laugh out of some of the older shots!
Jules without a road bike! Had a Yamaha 175 trail bike.
GT550 Suzuki around 1973 / 74
Honda CB750 K2 around 1975
Kawasaki 1000, Z1R around 1980
Lavers Hill: XS650 Yamaha, CB750 K4 Honda, RD350 Yamaha
CBR600F Honda around 2000
Just ridden 985 kms in a day
VFR800 Honda
VFR800 at Mt Panorama
2010 model Kawasaki ZX14 - bought new in 2011
ZX14R SE bought 2013
Most of the road bikes I've owned, but none of the dirt bikes included.

Re: Photographs and memories
Those of you that can remember the 1970's - a mystery has been solved!
Marc Bolan (Lead Singer of the band, T. Rex) was thought to have died in a car crash in 1977. This is not so, he is alive and well, living in Tourqay!
Have a look at the photo's Jules (but is it really?) has posted, in particular the B&W (3rd from the top) - that's Marc, albeit without a top hat! He has certainly aged well, as the later photographs show!

Re: Photographs and memories
Ha Ha! And hasn't riding gear come a long way. I don't think I rode in that sheepskin jacket very often, however, the denim jacket over a T-shirt and desert boots were standard summer apparel. I don't think that kevlar jeans were invented and I only knew one fella who owned leather pants. I don't have a pic with the Belstaff jacket which was used for wet weather.
